Hooman Panahandeh, born 1959, is a translator, editor, linguist, and instructor of philosophy and critical thinking. He holds a master's degree in linguistics from the University of Tehran and works in the fields of translation, editing, and education.
Hooman Panahandeh, born 1959, is a translator, editor, linguist, and instructor of philosophy and critical thinking. In 1990, he completed his master's degree in linguistics at the University of Tehran with a thesis titled "The Introduction of New Concepts and Semantic Change in Persian after 1979," under the supervision of Ali-Mohammad Haghshenas.
Although his academic background was in linguistics, his professional path became more closely tied to philosophy, translation, and editing. Panahandeh has taught subjects including English, Persian, linguistics, translation, critical thinking, and philosophy, and as an editor he has collaborated with a number of renowned translators, including Abdollah Kosari, Hassan Kamshad, and Reza Rezaei.
