Life and Thought
Mladen Dolar, born 1951, is a Slovenian philosopher, cultural theorist, Lacanian psychoanalyst, and film critic. He was born in Maribor and studied philosophy and French at the University of Ljubljana. Dolar later also studied in Paris and London, and has taught philosophy at the University of Ljubljana since the 1980s.
