Mohammad Mashinchian is an Iranian researcher, journalist, author, and translator in the fields of political economy, public policy, and liberal thought. He has contributed to publications such as Donya-e-Eqtesad, Sazandegi, Tejarat-e-Farda, and Siasatnameh, and has translated numerous works on capitalism, socialism, free trade, and the liberal tradition into Persian.
