Psychiatry and PsychologyIranian
Mohammad Reza Sargolzaei, born 1970, is an Iranian psychiatrist, writer, and lecturer in the fields of mental health and the humanities. He is known for his works and lectures on psychology, life skills, addiction, the philosophy of life, and the connection between psychotherapy and public culture.
Mohammad Reza Sargolzaei was born in 1970 in Zabol and studied medicine and then psychiatry. After receiving his specialization in psychiatry, in addition to his therapeutic and educational work, he dedicated part of his career to public education on mental health, life skills, and the psychological analysis of individual and social issues.
In his writings and lectures, Sargolzaei typically goes beyond the purely clinical boundaries of psychiatry and addresses the relationship between the psyche, culture, ethics, spirituality, lifestyle, and personal responsibility. This interdisciplinary approach has made his works accessible to a general audience interested in psychology and self-knowledge.
Among his published works are "The Healthy Personality," "Notes of a Psychiatrist," "Addiction," "Life Skills for Adolescents," "Incompleteness," "The Unconscious of Mr. Psychiatrist," "Human, Philosophy, Mysticism," and "The Madness of Power and Illegitimate Power." The common thread in many of these works is understanding the human being in connection with the psyche, meaning, relationships, trauma, and the possibility of personal growth.
