A Discussion Between Hadi Khaniki, Mostafa Malekian, and Mohammad-Amin Ghaneirad in Andisheh Pouya Monthly

Andisheh Pouya: In its thirty-third issue, a discussion was published featuring Mostafa Malekian and Saeed Hajjarian, titled “Politicization or De-politicization,” which addressed the prioritization of political reform versus cultural reform. This conversation continued, and the detailed account of its second session was also published in the thirty-fifth issue of Andisheh Pouya. Subsequently, however, others also joined this dialogue; among them was Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Mojahedi, who provided his critique and opinion in the form of an article to Andisheh Pouya, which was published in the thirty-ninth issue. Professor Malekian’s individualistic perspective had also drawn the attention of some sociologists, and for this reason, Dr. Mohammad-Amin Ghaneirad, President of the Iranian Sociological Association, invited Professor Malekian to a roundtable with Dr. Hadi Khaniki, President of the Association for Cultural Studies, to discuss Professor Malekian’s views.
