In a series on the applied exegesis of the Holy Quran, Dr. Alireza Azad draws on modern interpretive achievements and the legacy of Muslim scholars to elucidate the verses of Surah Luqman within the cultural framework of the revelation era and their application to contemporary life.
The practical exegesis of the Quran is a contemporary method for applying Quranic teachings within the context of modern human life. To this end, the efforts of Muslim neo-thinkers in the modern interpretation of the Quran are utilized alongside the valuable, enduring exegetical heritage of Muslim scholars. Dr. Alireza Azad, in a series of sessions on the practical exegesis of the Holy Quran, by researching the opinions of commentators and drawing upon modern exegetical achievements, interprets the verses of Surah Luqman within the cultural frameworks of the era of revelation and explicates their application in today's life within a hermeneutical format.
