The Foundation of History in Hegel's Thought, Seyyed Mohammad Taqi Chavoshi

In this space, I have attempted to approach the foundation of history from Hegel's perspective. This writing holds that: Hegel's historical thinking is established on the foundation of subjectivity. Logos, as absolute subjectivity, is the very science of logic and dialectics, and dialectics, in Hegel's view, appears in the form of the experience of consciousness. We know that Hegel calls the phenomenology of spirit the science of the experience of consciousness. Thus, the phenomenology of spirit deals with the moments of the experience of consciousness, which is the foundation of history. On the other hand, history is a series of expectations that bestows the stages of the spirit's emergence in the form of not-yet moments. But these moments, as we noted, are revealed on a foundation called the experience of consciousness.
