Ashkan Zare is an Iranian writer, journalist, translator, and researcher in the history of ideas and political thought. In his writings and conversations, he focuses mainly on the history of ideas in Iran, the idea of Iran, critiques of Marxism, and contemporary intellectual currents. Zare has also translated and edited works in political philosophy and the history of ideas.
