Naeimeh Pourmohammadi is an ethics scholar, lecturer in philosophy and theology, and assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy of Religion at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Religions and Denominations in Qom. Her main research areas are Islamic theology, philosophy of religion, the problem of evil, and disability ethics. Alongside her authored and translated works, she has published on the relationship between faith and ethics, Kierkegaard's theology, and the problem of God.
Naeimeh Pourmohammadi is an Iranian researcher in the fields of philosophy of religion, Islamic theology, and moral philosophy. She holds a Level Two qualification from the Qom Seminary, a master's degree in Islamic Philosophy and Theology from Allameh Tabataba'i University, and a PhD in Islamic Philosophy and Theology from the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran.
Pourmohammadi works as a lecturer in philosophy and theology and as an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy of Religion at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Religions and Denominations in Qom. The bulk of her studies focus on Islamic theology and philosophy of religion, particularly the problem of evil.
In moral philosophy, one of her main areas of work is disability ethics, and the book The Disabling World was written in this vein. Her other works include the articles "Moral Authority: Belief and Justification" and "Kierkegaard's Ethics of Faith," the book Faith and Ethics: A Comparison of the Theological Approaches of Kierkegaard and the Early Ash'arites, and a translation of Michael Palmer's The Problem of God.
