Abdollah Javadi Amoli, born in 1933 in Amol, is a jurist, philosopher, Quranic exegete, and a source of emulation in Shia Islam. A student of Allameh Tabatabai, he has produced extensive works in Islamic philosophy, theoretical mysticism, and Quranic interpretation.
