Ardeshir Mansouri

Ardeshir Mansouri, born in 1967 (1968 CE), is an instructor of philosophy and Persian literary texts. He earned his BA in Philosophy from the University of Tehran and his MA in Philosophy of Science from Sharif University of Technology. He has been engaged in educational and cultural activities for about 10 years in the education system and over 20 years in universities and higher education institutions. Courses such as philosophy of science, logic, general philosophy, philosophical schools and educational theories, philosophy of ethics, business ethics, and Persian language and literature are the formal subjects he has taught.

His work is not solely academic; a significant part of his educational activities involves public lectures and workshops on: the evolution of societies and thought in the West and East, analysis of the thought of great Persian-language poets, thinking and dialogue skills, as well as topics in nature tourism and environmental ethics. In Mansouri's studies and teaching, the link between philosophy and everyday life holds an important place. He does not pursue philosophy merely in the form of theoretical discussions but extends it into areas such as ethical relations in society and professional activity, optimal use of leisure time, giving meaning to life, and even safe and environmentally friendly nature tourism. Creative topics such as: "Life; Meaning, Skill, Style," "The Philosophy and Ethics of Mountaineering," and "Deep Reflection on the Teachings of the World's Sages for a Better Life" have been among his recent educational courses.

Mansouri has also published articles and notes reflecting his political and social concerns. His writings have an analytical and critical dimension, covering a range of issues from current affairs to key concepts in political and religious thought, penned with a concern for enhancing cultural literacy and the growth of public culture.

Mansouri also has a background in executive and social activities. These include serving as the head of the Office of Cultural Studies and Planning at the University of Tehran, membership on the editorial boards of the 'Barg-e Farhang' quarterly and the 'Negah-e Aftab' quarterly, educational consultant for the Tehran City Crisis Management Center, consultant for the Cultural Policy Office of the Ministry of Science, membership on the board of directors of the Iranian Association for Ethics in Science and Technology, membership in mountaineering groups and associations, and collaboration with non-governmental organizations.
